On June 18, 2023, we became a member of the Global Methodist Church.  "As a Wesleyan expression of Christianity, the Global Methodist Church professes the Christian faith, established on the confession of Jesus as messiah, the Son of God, and resurrected Lord of heaven and earth. This confession, expressed by Simon Peter in Matthew 16:16-19 and Acts 2:32, is foundational. It declares Jesus is the unique incarnate Word of God, and He lives today, calling all to receive Him as savior, and as the one to whom all authority has been given" (globalmethodistchurch.org).  â€‹Good Hope Methodist is open to worshippers of all ages and backgrounds.  We lead our congregation in worship, deepening the connection to God, understanding the teachings of Christ, and ultimately to a vibrant faith.

We have a long history of serving others in our community and surrounding areas, including international missions.  Through the dedication of our leadership, staff members, and volunteers we are committed to the teachings of Jesus Christ, and are here to spread His message.  â€‹

Meet Our Staff

Life Verse:

If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved (Romans 10:9-10 NIV).

Ashlee desires nothing more than to share God's saving grace with people of all ages. She is committed to encouraging members of the congregation, and everyone in our community, to grow in relationship with Christ. Her passion is to spread the gospel in a way that is tangible and understandable, helping those who may not know Jesus yet to grasp His love, His incredible gift.

She has passionately served in children and youth ministries since 2010. In September 2024, she became the pastor of Good Hope. Through action, word, and prayer, Ashlee finds nothing more important than for all of us to see Christ in our daily walks which will lead us to be the hands and feet of Jesus in our families, schools, workplaces and communities. She believes, as disciples of Jesus Christ, we must support and care for one another so each of us develops a strong and secure faith in our Lord and Savior.

Life verses.

I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me (Philippians 4:13 KJV).

Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, "I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee" (Hebrews 13:5 KJV).

Sonya has three children, six grandchildren, and two great grandchildren. She loves the congregation and her position as Administrative Assistant at Good Hope.
